Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. RhinoCert ("we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on rhinocert.com (the "Site") and our web portal.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of these cookies because the Site will not work without them.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are privacy-focused and do not use traditional tracking cookies. They collect anonymous, aggregated data only.
Microsoft Clarity shows us where our website works and where it doesn't. It runs only on our public website, sign-up and checkout pages — never in the signed-in portal where you work with certificates or your customers' details — and it hides what you type into forms. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you also accept marketing cookies, Clarity may set Microsoft's advertising cookies too (see 2.3).
We load all of these only after you accept the "Analytics" category in our cookie banner.
2.3 Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies help us reach electricians who need RhinoCert and measure how well our advertising works. We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), the TikTok Pixel and the Google Ads tag. With your consent, they:
- record your visits and key steps — such as opening the sign-up page, creating an account, starting checkout or subscribing — so we can see which ads lead to sign-ups;
- automatically record interactions on those pages, such as button clicks;
- match your visit to your Meta, TikTok or Google account using a scrambled (hashed) copy of the details you enter in our sign-up form, such as your name and email address. The details are scrambled in your browser before they are sent;
- let us show our ads to people who have visited, and let Meta, TikTok and Google find people with similar characteristics ("lookalike" audiences).
These pixels run only on our public website, sign-up and checkout pages — never in the signed-in portal where you work with certificates or your customers' details. They are off by default and are only set if you accept the "Marketing" category in our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 4).

3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies. The third parties listed below have their own privacy and cookie policies:
- Google / Firebase — Authentication and cloud services
- Stripe — Payment processing and fraud detection
- Vercel — Hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring
- Google — Google Ads advertising (only if you accept marketing cookies)
- Microsoft — Clarity session recordings and heatmaps (only if you accept analytics cookies), and Microsoft's advertising cookies (only if you also accept marketing cookies)
- Meta — Facebook and Instagram advertising (only if you accept marketing cookies)
- TikTok — TikTok advertising (only if you accept marketing cookies)
4. Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies from being set
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to RhinoCert and using the platform.
You can also change or withdraw your consent for analytics and marketing cookies at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant services straight away and deletes the cookies they set on our Site. Cookies those services set on their own websites (for example Google's or Microsoft's advertising cookies) can only be removed in your browser settings.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
