Refund Policy

At RhinoCert, we want you to be confident in your subscription. This policy explains how refunds work for each billing cycle so there are no surprises.
Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Because you can cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the current billing period, there is no partial-month refund.
To cancel, visit your Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month — you keep full access until then.
6-Monthly & Annual Plans
First purchase
If you subscribe to a 6-monthly or annual plan for the first time, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment, provided no certificates have been mastered during that period.
Auto-renewal
We send renewal reminder emails 30 days and 3 days before your subscription renews, giving you plenty of time to cancel if you no longer need the service.
If your subscription auto-renews and you did not intend to continue, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the renewal charge. After 14 days, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
Seat Changes & Upgrades
When you add seats or upgrade your billing interval, the pro-rated charge is applied immediately. These charges are non-refundable, as the additional access is granted instantly.
Credit from Seat Removals
If you remove a seat mid-cycle, the unused portion of that seat (pro-rated) is added to your account as a credit. This credit is applied automatically to your upcoming invoices.
If you'd prefer the credit refunded to your original payment method instead, email us at support@rhinocert.com within 14 days of the seat removal. After 14 days, credit refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
Downgrades
Billing interval downgrades (e.g. annual to monthly) take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued because you continue to use the service at the rate you originally agreed to until the period ends.
Promotions & Promo Codes
From time to time we offer promotions you redeem by entering a promo code at checkout. Most subscriptions are charged from the start — a promo code only changes that if you enter a valid one.
The terms of each code are shown before you pay
When you apply a code, the checkout shows exactly what it does — what (if anything) you pay today, what you'll pay afterwards, and when. You confirm with that in front of you.
Free or reduced introductory periods
Some codes give a free or reduced first period (for example, a free first month). During a free period nothing is charged and you have full access — cancel any time before it ends and you pay nothing. If a code reduces rather than removes a payment, you pay only the reduced amount shown.
Before your first full payment
Where a code gives a free trial period, we email you 3 days before it ends to remind you that billing is about to start and what you'll pay. To avoid being charged, cancel before that date.
Refunds
Once any payment has been taken, our standard refund terms above apply from that payment — a promotion doesn't change them. Monthly is non-refundable once charged; 6-monthly and annual are refundable within 14 days of the charge if you haven't mastered any certificates in that time.
What promotions don't cover
Additional team seats are never part of a promotion unless a code explicitly says so — seats are charged at checkout and are non-refundable once active.
Eligibility
Unless a code states otherwise, promotions are for new customers only and can be used once per person.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@rhinocert.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- The reason for your request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks incur fees that we cannot recover, and we are always happy to resolve billing issues directly and promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
